Hitchins Ltd bypasses CBC and appeals direct to Planning Inspectorate to develop Oakley Farm

The company behind the proposed development of 250 homes on Oakley Farm Pasture Slopes, Robert Hitchins Ltd, is bypassing CBC's planning committee and appealing direct to the Planning Inspectorate. They have lodged the appeal based on non-determination by CBC within the allowed timeframe. No doubt there are numerous reasons for delays in this application process, not least the request for additional information from the applicant some of which had been lacking in detail. Nevertheless, the application will now be determined by the Planning Inspectorate (central government) later in the summer. We will update this page with dates and links of how to access this process.
