Many people in the area have questioned what is happening on the Oakley Farm fields. It transpires that the landowners of Oakley Farm have instructed RPS, an archaeology services company, to produce an archaeological report. Worcestershire Archaeology are carrying out the work in the field, which consists of trial trenching of slightly under 2% of the land area, to investigate ground anomalies found by a previous survey. The intention of this is to build a picture of what archaeology may be on site and the significance of anything found.
