250 new houses to be accessed from Harp Hill

According to a new request for a 'scoping opinion' submitted on the CBC planning website, vehicle access to a new development of 250 houses is proposed from Harp Hill. This is a road that is already used as a cut-through, particularly during peak times and leads on to Greenway Lane which frequently experiences long queues of traffic at the traffic lights at the London Road junction (Sixways). Traffic queues also occur at the bottom of Harp Hill/Priors Road mini roundabout throughout the day with traffic queuing extensively along Priors Rd, Hewlett Rd and Hales Rd.
